Marathon Month: August
It's baaaaack!
For the uninitiated, Marathon month is a cumulative distance challenge. Set your personal distance goal for the month. Choose from a half marathon (13.1 miles), a full marathon (26.2 miles), or an ultra marathon, 31.1+ miles). Once you reach your goal, you win!
Yep, this is a YOU versus YOU challenge!
So WHY participate? Whether your looking to increase your cardio fitness levels, shed a few pounds, or even get "race ready", Marathon month is an adaptable way to reach your goals. The incremental "wins" of adding more mileage and tracking distance is super empowering!
I'm not a jogger or runner - can I powerwalk/bike/strider instead? You betcha! You're in control and you get to choose the speed and intensity. Just make sure to stick with one distance goal and one piece of equipment (tread, bike, or strider) throughout the challenge.
Do Tread 50 classes count toward mileage? Absolutely. Tread 50 classes can give you a great start toward reaching your goal.
Besides bragging rights, what do I win? Upon goal completion, participants earn OTF Running Water Bottle and removable hand strap, MM Medal, and MM Sticker.
How much? One-time $15 registration fee

The Fine Print
- No more than one (1) class per day will count towards the participant’s Marathon Month distance. Participants cannot double up on the tread (or bike/strider) portion in a single class.
- Distance must be tracked in-studio on the Challenge Tracker.
- Registration open from July 15- August 1.
- Participants may take the approved class types (Orange 60, Orange 90, Tread 50) at any location.
- Participants must commit to one (1) of the challenges prior to starting: Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or Ultramarathon.
